I was just recently reminded how in asian countries Bunnies are heavily connected to the moon. There's even the legend with kaguya the moon princess and iirc that story also uses a lot of imagery with rabbits. Man I was quite late to realize that when I was watching these episodes by myself.

2024-07-12 05:29:22 +0000 UTCIt's interesting that we saw a glimpse of Luffy's future sight back at Marineford when Mihawk got in-front of Luffy. Remember, Luffy did a jet bazooka and saw his two arms being cut by Mihawk. After those 3 - 5 seconds Luffy saw in the future he redirected his attack to hit the ground. Also, Ussop back in Dressrosa I believe he unlock future sight when sniping Sugar. Originally, it look like simple Observation Haki, but if you re-watch that scene Ussop clearly saw like a full minute in the future were he failed the shot and then readjusted to succeed on the real attempt.

But essentially as you might have noticed with one piece, previously at the end of an arc there was always a couple filler episodes to give the manga a little time to get ahead as one piece very rarely does fillers mid arc. However after Zou, they changed to doing mixed canon/filler episodes with the filler being remastered flashbacks alongside new material. WCI is a long arc so we'll have about 12 episodes like the mixed canon/ filler after Zou with new material alongside remastered flashbacks. I would never recommend one pace but all it does for these 12 episodes is remove the flashbacks. I just wanted you to know the details but whatever you decide i'm perfectly okay with especially if Erza likes the flashbacks.

Erza likes to see the old parts reanimated but she doesn’t like flashbacks during a heated moment cuz she’s ready to get the point. So during a flashbacks lol. Often it’s only one of us that likes it.

2022-02-28 20:31:28 +0000 UTCI don't mind One Piece's pace. Yes the overly long recaps can be annoying, especially for stuff that happened the episode before, but I still enjoy the content. But that mini-arc is excessive even by anime standards. I can stand 30% of an episode beingbl flashbacks or recaps. But these ones are like 75% and it breaks up the flow of some important events.

But I think the person was just suggesting One Pace for the upcoming mini-arc since it contains a lot of flashbacks to previous episodes. It's probably the most reasonable place to switch to One Pace for a first viewing, but only if you can't stand re-watching old scenes. However, it seems to me that YBRL and Erza enjoy those scenes and the anime exclusive content in general. Why waste time with a suggestion that they enjoy OP less?

You are doing good by watching the mixed canon as-is, with the filler episodes being the only thing to be skipped. One Pace is just someone's attempt to make the anime match the manga, and while that might work for a refresher you need to watch One Piece the first time the way the directors intended. That's what several comments I read on a forum said including those who began their One Piece journey with One Pace and now deeply regret it, and that's the course I suggest you take. Ruff Senpai told those who tried to pressure him to do One Pace where they could stick it, and I think that you should too. Having said that I think that my Observation Haki is growing because I can see how Friday's video is going to go., a video I am aware that you have recorded earlier and are waiting until then to release it. In the second episode a certain character is going to royally piss you off, and in the third episode another character is going to get mad respect from you and your hype meter is going through the roof.
