2023-02-06 15:40:02 +0000 UTCA little character info: When Vex and Vax were kids, Vax was the rebel who was sneaking out, hanging out with the criminal crowd, and learning to pick-pocket, burgle, and get involved with questionable love interests (Vax and being attracted to red flags... it was a thing). On the other hand, Vex was the responsible one who trained and studied diligently. As a result, her father expected her to be responsible and keep Vax from getting in trouble. When Vax would INEVITABLY do get in trouble, she'd be punished right along side him. As a result, she's got it DRILLED into her subconscious that she has to be responsible for him and protect him, even though she's the younger one.

So I doubt that they're interested in keeping any of that "noble blood" in the family. Vex literally says to his face "I wish I could rip out your elven blood that flows in me!" Plus there's the fact that she was incredibly grossed out by the prospect of posing as couples with Vax for a disguise mission.
