30:38 "She looks just like her" You are the only one I've seen catch that. Actually that couple bears other similarities to them. Look at the height difference, the guys clothing looks like something Gojo would possibly wear if he ever graduates from the samue. It really comes across in the manga as the two couples are pictured in side by side panels. Fukuda-sensei does quite a lot of subtle storytelling and foreshadowing along with the obvious stuff. There are a few little trinkets in S2 pointing to events that should be in S2. Knowing this about how she writes I've taken that shot as her telling us "Don't worry, whatever I put them through they'll end up together."

2022-03-21 10:51:30 +0000 UTCI mean...there are multiple scenes in history of anime that had bigger impact, Zero:Requiem, [removed due to possible spoilers], THAT scene from Berserk or finalle of each act of Arcane, just to name a few. But what they all have in common was being both finalles of series/arcs and highly emotional on top of that, for "just a silent scene from rom-com" to rival quality of scenes people wrote entire essays, and over and hour long analyssys videos is just incredible

2022-03-21 10:38:33 +0000 UTCI knew from the start that this show will find a REALLY high spot on my personal "goat list", but after this episode...fuck it, it's officialy THE BEST (anime) of all time, the 39sec of silence with only sound being their breaths synhronizing...that is honestly one of the best scenes I had ever seen in any anime, and nothing can even come close to it. It is just perfect... for a scene wihout a single spoken word, and wihout any magnificent visuals to be so perfect is just...aaaaaaaah.
