2022-03-28 23:21:40 +0000 UTCTo be honest, the will-they-wont-they sells like hotcakes, and a lot of the time once characters get together you really kind of lose something from the story. These types of shows usually are long-running so the author obviously would rather keep that tension in the story for as long as possible. It's also far to early for Gojo to be making any moves, like she's only just become his first real friend. If this were a shorter series they'd get together sooner.

If they were to go from 40 to current it'd make 11.3 episodes worth of content without adding anything extra but they've already shown that they have no problem expanding scenes or adding new stuff.

2022-03-28 09:14:27 +0000 UTCThough I think we will get a season 2, we won’t see it for awhile. Season 1 covered nearly 40 chapters of the manga and there is only 73 chapters out, so there isn’t enough for another season. Which is a shame because I’ve read ahead and it’s so good!

I feel like it goes through a lot of effort to be more than another slice of life romance anime, but we still end with two characters refusing to just get together lol. I’ll never understand japans willingness to do everything possible except let two characters kiss on screen.
