Tadano means average in japanese and hitohito means people. So his name literally means average people. Everyone else's name is also a words play like that. Like Osananajimi mean childhoold friend and Osana Najimi is everyone's childhood friend.

So far the others characters are a little too easy-going in my opinion especially after the first episode telling us how crazy hard it would be for Tadano to help Komi make friends. We need more wackos like her lol.
