The way I looked at these fights was, you can be stage zero, arcane stage, whatever, but you also have to look at strategy and magical affinity matchups.

Dante showed him using Gravity Magic and then healed himself with "Some kind of other magic". and Zannon was using Bone Magic and you will see him using another magic type in one scene, hopefully you catch that.

But tbh even as a reader/watcher, that question legit never once crossed my mind until after the Golden Dawn got whacked, leaving only Yuno available as the "acting Captain" and no one around to play "acting Vice Captain" in Yuno's stead. That was what later led to my first instance of "Wait but then who acts as Captain if Yami gets whacked?" And ofc, we always hear Finral going on about "But I have seniority here!!!" so that was obviously my first assumption, though it quickly got tossed out the window. Looking back on the whole thing, it's honestly pretty funny how well Tabatha managed to get away with not revealing the BC VC until chapter 200+ something. There just really isn't any instance before the Spade Kingdom arc where asking that question is really warranted, you know? Not that I can think of, anyways.

Yami, in episode 6 or 7, tells Asta that there are more members, but they're all slacking off, on break, or doing missions. Zora was slacking off. Henry was on break. And this mother fucker was on missions. I like that, honestly, it took the entire series for the in joke to run its course

The people of Clover Kingdom are more accustomed to wars and battles, until recently they fought and killed each other, the noble and the poor. I think the difference between the two kingdoms is the fighting experience, Clover Kingdom is used to war and fighting. That's my opinion, maybe I'm wrong.

2022-04-09 01:40:29 +0000 UTCcharacters have been captain level since early on in the series thats what makes bc really good for me, but being strong doesnt mean you are automatically made to a captain, you need to earn your merit and experience. noelles sea dragons roar is captain level the moment she got it, yuno and asta when they got their trasnformations, actually yuno even before when he took on multiple diamond generals and won. but the different between yuno asta noelle and co from captains is how many spells captains have and how much experience they have to get out of situations as well as mental fortitude ectect.
