Hello Aaron. Saw the schedule?

Rock Lee

just so you guys know the translation "Animal Kingdom Pirates" is wrong its what they use in a manga translation but its incorrect. The name in Japanese "hyakku juu kaizoku dan" means the "Hundred Beast Pirates" or just "Beasts Pirates" (either one works but the "hyakku" part means hundred and the "juu" part means beast. "Kaizoku dan" means pirate crew). Kaido's title is also usually translated wrong. He's actually not called "King of the Beasts" his title is "hyakku juu no Kaido" which is taken from the name of his pirate crew. It translates to "Hundred Beasts Kaido" or "Beast Kaido" but since the title doesnt make much sense in English context they changed it I guess

Whens the next one piece bruh

Aaron Yow

That actually happens in Oda's one shot 'Monsters'. It was written when Oda was like 19 and he was an apprentice and introduced Ryuma. I won't go into detail but the most well-known part of the story is where Ryuma beheads a dragon. Zoro beheading that dragon in Punk hazard is actually an homage to that. Zoro in general actually looks and acts a lot like Ryuma and Oda has said that 'Monsters' is canon in One Piece. It's a fun read and you should check it out. It's in a collection of Oda's pre-One Piece comics titled 'Wanted'. A lot of them are pretty good as well.

Adam Vialpando

Kaido in dragon form looks like Shenron from DBZ

I dont like how Rock lee thinks its him that doesnt understand and gets confused. But really its just erza or ezra however you spell it thats bad at explaining lol. She just be talking im like wtf is she saying? Sorry. I had to say something cause at 32:10 she was talking about a girl with blue hair then randomly started talking about the time fruit and rock lee thinks hes slow and im like nah bruh im in the same boat

LuffySolos

Me and Directornasty did Steins Gate

Rock Lee

you guys saying the best convo you have had was time travel (6;30 ish) you would love doctor who ill have to drop in suggestions after i watch rest of this video lol

Kreeoh

Apart from the four dragons you guys mentioned, there has been a fifth one that's been mentioned (although we didn't see it). Go back to Thriller Bark, the first time Wano was mentioned. The zombie that Zoro fought was Ryuma. According to legend, he beheaded a dragon that was terrorizing Wano. The anime will remind you again in a few episodes as he will be somewhat relevant (no spoilers though).

Juan Umana

Erza mentioned the Alabasta crest being similar to the Kozuki crest. There are some similarities between not only these two but also a couple other symbols that appear throughout the story. This has spawned a few theories although nothing has really been confirmed.

Juan Umana

honestly, I wasn't sure, idk why. The I know got me.

Nik

Rock Lee spitting facts again. I am so dead

naked hairy potato

Yeah I like the theorizing but Otama timeline does not make it plausible that she came from the past with them. Ace if I remember right is 20 when he dies so another thing that ruins it.

SolitaryLark

Kaido is definitely one of the boldest Yonko

SolitaryLark

4 years is generous with the anime pacing

Random58

Why couldn't it be both? Half-joking, half-serious? 😁 Like I said before most of the opponents that have faced against Luffy before have sent their underlings to try and stop him before daring to face him themselves, Kaido is the first I know of to do otherwise. May not be bravery, but there is a bit of honor in such an act.

SonicKing2004

Wano looks like it will last like 4 years... even the manga still there

AGK

I genuinely think that Kaido went straight to meet Luffy the moment he heard Luffy has arrived was a sign of respect. I would expect the same reaction from shanks when/if Luffy ever gets to shanks territory.

Charlotte D. Katakuri

Do y’all think the caption was a joke or a serious statement first…… lol

Rock Lee

If you want to think of Kaido as being brave then there's nothing stopping you, but I define bravery as "not the absence of fear, but the strength of will to stand up to that which you fear," and of all the different emotions Kaido has towards Luffy I don't think that fear is one of them. Also I wouldn't say that Kaido is not afraid of death so much as that he is actively seeking it out, and not because he is trying to face it or because he's feeling remorseful, but because he's bored with living forever.

SonicKing2004

In the manga they didn't show Kaido transform into a dragon, he just popped out of the sky and Law confirmed it was Kaido. I still think the manga reveal made for a better "wtf" reaction from the viewer/reader.

midothegreat

Nah he’s definitely brave. He’s not afraid of death

Jeremiah Wagner

I don't feel i said anything spoilery i am just want them to expect more hype ep than now

OneAnk

Did you forgot otama meet ace back 3 years ago when kin and other just reached wan in few months back And wano start in anime July 2019 and still need 2year to catch up with current manga where wano is yet to be end so wano in gen going to be about 6 years in anime

OneAnk

I'm not sure if I would call Kaido "brave". Arrogant? Yes. Maybe gangster. And the fact that he chose to face Luffy himself rather than sending his minions after him (the way that Big Mom and countless others had) is worth noting. But lest we forget that when we were introduced to Kaido he was looking for a way to die, going so far as leaping from Skypia without a chute, lamenting his failure to do so despite Whitebeard finding a way. In order to be brave about something you first have to harbor a fear of it and yet still stand against it, and I don't see Kaido fearing anything just yet.
