I only prefer bunny girl more cause the ayakashi/yokai medieval japan type stories like dororo dont excite me anymore. In the same genre I prefer nurarihyon no mago than dororo even though nurarihyon no mago is set in modern age.

2022-04-21 23:01:50 +0000 UTCYeah, it's not SUPER depressing or anything, maybe "depressing" is the wrong choice of words but there are definitely sad points in the show that can kinda bring down the mood which is fine and can make for some good reactions but I just personally prefer a funny show with action. While bunny girl does have some comedy I wouldn't say it's very "funny" it's kinda dry humour/deadpan which isn't really my cup of tea. It had comedy but not really anything I personally "laughed out loud" at. I personally really hope we get both and suspect we will.

A generic isekai that will never see another season and only serves to add to the mass of isekai shows Lee + Nasty have already watched (which far trumps any other genre on the channel)? 2022-04-21 16:48:59 +0000 UTCexactly. kaguya isnt my cup of tea and now they are locked into 3 seasons. thats why shows like goblin slayer or my dress up darling are good. 1 season and they onto the next. if people dont like it, its only there for a bit then done. The only thing thats a bit risky is jumping into a show that hasnt finished its first season yet. Like faraway paladin started off promising but then just died.

I saw others mention Familiar of zero and Dog Days, both are isekai from before the boom really hit off, with the former having 4 seasons, and the latter having 3 seasons. Both are very good and hits the nostalgic itch for zoomer anime fans.

War on Geminar' if you need a new trashy isekai. its trashy ecchi and enjoyable but has pretty high production values to it and an ok story. also has the second best waifu dark elf next to pirotess from lodoss wars.

It's kind of long and it's divided into a bunch of individual seasons that have different names, so it can be complicated at first, but the writing, story, and animation are all SO good and I really think you guys would love it

Skeleton Hero replacing Shield is a good decision because it is still ongoing weekly so it's not like you have to record a whole season of it (you don't need to spend too much time recording). Looking at Youtube, smaller and other reaction channels are doing decent/not bad with Skeleton Knight. So having it replace Shield Hero makes sense. One thing I will say though, a lot of Shield Hero readers are saying that it will pick up eventually so there is an element of hesitation here because who knows it might do well when it does pick up. Regarding what you personally like, Skeleton Knight is just an average isekai so think of something like Slime, Konosuba, Arifureta, Assassin Isekai. Basically it isn't anything special like Mushoku Tensei, Re: Zero or Overlord in the Isekai writing perspective. Regarding Bunny Senpai, I've recommended Kaguya and Komi and both managed to make it so I'm grateful for that. At first I'm not sure whether you guys would like these shows but I knew they would do well on Youtube. And now I'm seeing that you are enjoying the romance genre so it might be a win win. Looking at Youtube, Bunny Girl senpai is doing really well on a lot of reaction channels despite not reacting when it's hot/when it airs. So it is a safe bet. So at the end of the day you don't need to record Bunny Girl senpai now since it can still do well despite not airing now, but at the same time Skeleton and Shield are just weekly shows that you don't need to bulk watch. Bunny Girl can be something you and Director binge on the weekdays. Tldr; Shield Hero might pick up based on the novel readers so we don't know what will happen in the future. Skeleton Knight is a safe bet because its doing decent on Youtube and its weekly so you don't need to spend too much time. Bunny Girl brings in views but isn't a high priority but if you have time to binge its a safe bet.

In my opinion even tho stray dogs is a shounen it's story and style doesnt really follow traditional shounen so it would be a new experience, rather than "another" isekai

Nagatoro would be absolute fire for the boys...probably Lee being too afraid of getting canceled by Twitter wierdos might ruin this (DUDE realy getting canceled on Twitter is litteraly the best promotion one can get, noone cares what these people think and the name recognition skyrockets)...but its not even close in category to bunny girl. They might share the same TAB on crunchyroll but these shows are compleatly different

For Lee & Nasty show...dunno Bunny Girl should be good, and the Skeleton Knight isekai... isn't good, obviously, but IT isn't total trash either, and is MUCH better than S2 shield hero so far, so IT will probably be fire for you guys...my standards for anime are leagues too high anyway xD
