This is my take on s1ep 2, Maki is in love with the guy so as a friend Nagisa tried to approach and pry him, he misunderstood it so he asked Miyuki for advice, thats where the wall slam started, he wall slammed her and she cant say no. If you notice the dialogue Shinomiya was the straightman on that comedic scene so take her words as it is..That's why you see her wondering why Maki is always stalking them angry/crying. She being jealous of Maki make sense.
