Johnny got his motivation from seeing a successful danny and went to help a kid. danny saw a logo...on a random building (becuz this cobra kai's dojo is not the original location)... and got triggered and the rest unfolded from there. IMO Miguel, Tory and Robby are products of their environments so with that I can empathize. But Danny (and sam) had the perfect lil life til he decided that no matter what phase of his life he is in... he'll always want to best johnny on every level.
