This man walked out on his kid day 1 and hasn’t done much over the past 16/17 years to rectify it. Johnny has a angry child on his hands and it’s his fault. Johnny can’t abandon Robby for that long and expect instant gratification in return. The trust has to be built slowly.

With Kreese, Tory, Miguel, Johnny, Daniel they helped moving the story forward. Also, yeah Kreese did break the 4th wall at the end lol. Johnny is my favorite character for Cobra Kai by the end of the day.

I really think with some coaxing and a little more reasonable talk, something longer than a few minutes, Daniel could’ve convinced Robby to go in. Hell, take Robby home with you Daniel, give him 1 day to process. That was an ambush. He literally just took a kid with very big trust issues in the parental department and betrayed the little bit of trust/faith he had in at least 1adult. That’s a big deal for a kid like Robby. This wasn’t your average situation with a teen acting out. Robby has spent his entire life with unreliable parents. Daniel was the one adult he had solidly caring for him. And just like always, Robby was let down once again by a parental figure. The guy isn’t even shocked anymore. Look at his face in 2x10. It’s all he knows. He’s literally without anyone. Daniel did this right after showing Robby that he meant very little to him. He’d just come off of saying some very harsh words to this kid that’s used to being abandoned. It’s like they drop a rock on Robby’s head and just for the sake of it, drop a few more rocks to cause massive damage to an emotionally damaged teen. Robby has no hope. I bet if this was Sam, Danny wouldn’t ambushed her that way. Him and Amanda would talk her into going in, probably with a lawyer present, not this. I don’t even think Robby is truly angry if I’m being honest, it’s just manifesting that way. Robby is just genuinely hurt. He can’t trust anyone and that includes his girlfriend. I can’t even imagine what a kid like him is feeling. Robby must feel so unwanted by the very people that are supposed to love him most, his parents. His mother was crap and he still ran to her because sadly even with her neglect, she’s all he’s got. That’s sad.
