People have asked that we stick to less shows and finish them faster.
I'm usually deciding on upload frequency with a Youtube deadline for an anticipated show getting a season by a particular date or episode 1 release, and obviously, they pass through Patreon first, shows like The Boys and Classroom of the Elite of new seasons around the Corner while other shows don't have a new season till August (cobra kai).
So like Bleach, 4x episodes skipping filler meats the October release hence the timing of our start, we can pace ourselves and not rush that experience
2nd. We also have shows we wanted to see or between the 3 of us have different preferences so the variety is good.
3rd, as it is, I'm seeing most channels do like 15 videos a week lol. 2 episodes of Classroom of Elite a week for example. We Match the upload frequency of other channels and add more recording time to just add another show rather than burn through shows fast and scramble to keep interested.
I'll add edited remarks based on comments read and go from there.

I think binge is dangerous for reactors. Because I do not like every show that you cover, if your channel were filled with that single show, you would risk me drifting away from your channel much more easily than if I am invested in, at least, one or two shows. Irregular at Magic High School made me a patreon, and I have not left because there is always more that I want to watch with the crew.

I like you guys because so far from what I've watched, your reactions and impressions hit me with a genuine sense of camaraderie. Sort of like...as if I were there physically. I've checked out other patreons (some I wish I could get a refund) and ultimately you guys are it for me. NGL I think it's because we're around the same age (*cough* 30s), very open-minded, and I can relate to Florida references. Born in Miami, lived in Hialeah, and now live in Atlanta. It's why I'm here and I check the schedule ahead of time to know what to expect each day so I'm never disappointed when drops aren't shows that I watch. A lot of times I check them out anyways and I end up enjoying it. Good point on less shows doesn't necessarily mean more episodes for other shows. That could lead to burnout (from binging) I came here for Black Clover and One Piece but because of you guys, I got to watch and fall in love with shows like Invincible, Peacemaker and Kdramas that I would've never checked out on my own. I'm literally checking out Park Ju Hyun's other dramas because I discovered her through your Extracurricular reactions! Love what you guys do. Keep it up!!

Also OP doesn’t really effect the TRIO reactions But i can understand you not wanting to see them both lol. I think Bleach will be the last loooong series for a while. Unless we do Boruto 😭😭😭. I would think it would have been better to have done 2 smaller shows in the Bleach spot at least until you caught up with Weekly One Piece. Anyway it seems to be working! So keep on!!

By dropping a whole season it would create even more work, disrupting your workflow and could affect consistency. Now we are on the same page, and I can see that dropping a whole season is not a good idea lol

I think you're doing great now and see no need to change the schedule up. also, I wasn't really paying attention to the schedule too much and since you're starting The Boys, you can bet that you're gonna have me watching that as soon as it drops.

It pushes me into more more “work”. The reserves allow us to take some time off and y’all don’t know because we tap our reserves Other reactors. Go “sorry no videos next two days, vacation “. Since everything else was covered I just wanted to throw that out as a suggestion. Maybe it could work for a show like Talentless Nana where there's always something in the anime pipeline

For example if you dropped the full 1st season of Cobra Kai or Extracurricular. Other than that I do enjoy variety you upload. It would just be cool if you dropped a whole show like Netflix every once a while, we’ll still stay for the rest of weekly uploads too.

I watch 2 or 3 of your shows at any given time. And that's fine I've subbed to a channel to watch 1 show before. I would like to see more movie reactions. Stay sane, take breaks. As far as your anime post I really dont watch it so I leave it to your hardcore fans to decide what they like. I enjoy "The boys" and might check out other things. I enjoy what u guys do, I'm here and I have no regrets thus far. Keep up the good work.

It’s always nice to get the fan’s perspective and try to appease them all the time but you should also do it in a way that works around you and fits with what you want to do. I just love the videos 😂

I think what you're doing is cool and it reaches wider audiences also you would probably get bored with series like bleach if you had to watch like 30 episodes per week, I like the variety even tho I don't watch many shows that you guys react to. 2022-05-12 02:16:51 +0000 UTCYou didn't really problem solve anything in the video above, you basically just stated that you branched out so much variety wise, specifically with unending anime, so much so that anything else that's much shorter, like Cobra Kai for example, feels like a super long wait in-between episode reactions. It would make a lot more sense to pick 4-6 shows total and only add more once something has finished. Possibly even add movies into the mix since its less overall commitment

I wonder if Adorkable can join the OP reactions once you guys are up to date with the anime, and can only do one reaction a week at that point. A lot of the other shows you guys are reacting too I had not seen before, so I cannot really watch those reactions yet. Something I would like to see from reactors is checking out shows that may or may not be the most popular at the time, but I know that's kind of counter productive to hitting as many people as possible on name alone.

Roshi recommended Bunny to me and I Recommended him Steins Gate. I even said my views were bad but it’s GOATED. so with that he knows the copyrights isn’t an issue because i did it. Side note (now i get in his recommended. His base will watch and get recommended my videos and vice versa). Finally shows could wait in cycles but we also like talking about it. I talk about YJ every week. Last. When we start new shows we look at each others successful videos. I have a channel and it’s not Roshi who anytime their show breaks 5k. Im sure you have viewership data that lets you see what works best as far as posting videos. I also want to say that I'm personally a big fan of the variety. For example the long running battle shonens like bleach is something I wont watch. Thats why I appreciate it when you put on something like bunny senpai. That one issue that I'm noticing and I dont know if anyone can really do anything about it is all the content creators Im following are doing the same shows. Like classroom of the elite for example, is done by you guys and two others I follow. I like CotE but having read the LNs and seen the anime, it just gets rough when EVERYONE is doing CotE videos. I get why its happening, but maybe hold on to a show like that until its out of everyone elses system. Or Maybe do some counterprograming, like if a show gets 1st in a poll, but alot of other content creators are doing the same show, do the next most popular show that isn't being so heavily covered (and yes, I know the people dont like that but whatever lol). Anyways i know my post went a little off topic, yall are the pros and you know better than I. Just my 2 cents, keep up the good work!

I am not a huge fan of anime and the K-Drama you are currently reacting to is one that explores themes that are a bit too uncomfortable for me. And I haven't watched it in my spare time either, so I don't want to spoil myself... if that makes sense? I will forever keep suggesting Band of Brothers as a mini series for you guys, but other than that I am happy with Cobra Kai for now.

In my personal opinion, I think you shouldn't tie yourselves to multiple unending shows like One Piece/Black Clover/Bleach, but only you know if they're worth the slots (I'll keep on not watching any of them). As for the wide variety, I've started watching some shows I didn't know about because of you so I am not against it.

I feel you on the "I can't binge some shows" cause everyone's different, back when I was still studying and not working full time, I can finish a cour in a weekend but nowadays it's only 3-4 episodes cause I also need time to rest/real life shit.

I will just use one of the most infamous quotes in history, cuz whenever you said people wanted Classroom of Elite it was first thing on my mind, but unlike Blizzard I will be 100% right "You think you do, but you dont". I can bet over 80% of people who wanted it ..dont really want it and just got caught in the hype btw. Blizz got a lot of shit for "you think you do (want classic WoW back), but you dont"...buuuuut they were accualy right. IT was litteraly the same thing as with Classroom of Elite. VERY small minority wanted it, but somehow it got extremely overhyped with everyone to the point shit ton of people wanted it...only to get burned, cuz product is waaaaaaaaaaay below expextations.

I don't mind variety or frequency as long as its shows that I like. For example if you post more Cobra Kai then I'm happy. If you post more Bleach instead of other variety of shows then I'm sad. So what is the key takeaway here? As long as you upload shows that people like you won't lose. Which is easier to do this? Frequency or variety? The answer is variety. If you upload more frequently you'd need to make sure your whole fanbase is onboard for it to work, but if you upload more variety then one of the shows will hit and it caters to a wider audience and demographic. So it's easier to win. I watch almost all your reactions except for Skeleton Knight, Black Clover, One Piece and Bleach. It might seem surprising because I avoid shows that are popular on your channel. That's because I love various types of things as long as its good and sometimes popularity doesn't coincide with this. So you'd determine shows that you'd upload more frequently using polls but polls is more a popularity contest. Popularity doesn't equate to something being good. So that's why variety works because the chances of hitting a show that works is higher. TLDR; Variety has more chances of success and it caters to more people and it suits your viewing style. Frequency only works if you're sure 90% of your viewers will watch it which is a hard ask. I'm not a big fan of Classroom of the Elite so I wouldn't ask you to upload that more frequently at the expense of variety of shows that I like. Every day I come home from uni to watch reactions to unwind and I don't mind watching lesser episodes as long as the variety of shows are ones that I like. Sorry for the length but hope this helps

Its REALLY annoying to see 7 notyfications and go "trash, trash, trash, im 2 seasons behind, trash, trash, trash...great nothing again". I get IT is overhyped to a Moon and back for some reason, and probably will get vievs before people realise its just straight up bad. Im fine covering IT. I watch a few other creators that go at a snail's pace in comparison though, so its very subjective when you don't have something to compare your schedule to. So I mean in my opinion, I think your formula works fine, and it wouldn't be unreasonable to have as many shows going as you do now since you're able to meet the reasonable amount of episodes put out in a typical week.

I think the only show I aint watching with you guys is the K drama and the YJ. These are reactions I might binge later on. To be honest Im just thankful you guys keep pumping out the content because sometimes things happen whether its family stuff or equipment malfunction. Thank you guys for all the hard work.

Sure maybe not every single thing but that’s what makes commenting feel better. Usually even if there’s a small detail one of them forget the others are there to remind them. Or we add in any details we can without spoiling things.

2022-05-11 21:34:38 +0000 UTCI admit that I only watch a handful of the episodes that you react to, but I wouldn't dream of asking you to binge just those shows and get through them (or get caught up) sooner. Not only would that possibly burn you out on that show and thus lessen your enjoyment of it (which is what we tune in for) but I feel that it would be unfair to those who were brought to this community through your reactions to those other shows that would be ignored or put off or something. Besides, I think that doing a variety is the best way to expose your fans to shows that they normally wouldn't think about watching: they watch your reaction to their favorite show, then while waiting for the next video they see your reaction to a different show, then they check that out and (with any luck) they decide "you know, this isn't half bad!" So yeah you should stick with the way you're doing things, as you'll get through the season(s) soon enough.

Plus since I don't watch every video it sort of breaks up my viewing and builds anticipation for that next video for the shows I watch. Like if you posted a Bleach episode every day it would be "oh, it is the daily Bleach," but as it is now I'm like "hell yeah, Bleach day!"

2022-05-11 21:33:14 +0000 UTCi don't get why people are complaining, variety CAN'T be a bad thing. maybe they're worried that you might not be able to follow too many shows at once, or they're just not interest in what you're covering (or even more simple, it's a money problem, less shows to react to, less time spent on the show which they payed for, less months on patreon). btw thanks for your hard work, just do the things your way

Sure I might not fuck with every show but the variety you guys have taken on literally gives me something I am looking forward t watching every single day. I can’t speak for everyone but that makes the day better just knowing that I have at least one of y’all’s reactions to pop on and decompress after work. Quite frankly with the variety you have taken on it amazes me the quality has not dropped at all. Love what you guys are doing!

The structure how you select shows is solid and the actual shows themselves aren't bad at all. Just imo skeleton knight is weakest but that will be dif for everybody. I can't say you have a show that would systematically be 'bad' to review unless it just doesn't meet your preferred numbers. Though I don't watch all your stuff I don't feel like I've come across a series you guys have 'dropped' due to poor showing

So it’s good for me that you upload so many different ones so I’m not just waiting for a show id like to see you guys react to. Plus honestly you guys have such a variety that i have many old reactions i can watch. Other channels may finish certain shows faster but they only have a handful of options unlike you guys
