To go with that I don't think Hawk is a "C" level student I'm pretty sure he's intelligent. The way he casually reverts back to Eli to get the teachers on his side. He knows what he's doing and does it well.

As soon as Johnny told them about it Amada confronted Sam the first moment she was able to and then punished her when she verified johnnys claims. Of course Robbie snuck her out but that doesnt negate the fact there was a punishment for it

I'm biased bc I'm not one to like a goody-goody but Sam isn't even that innocent. I think I would like her more if she owned up to her actions, she acts like Tory has no reason to dislike her and like she has no part in this entire situation.

He has this very angry son and instead of taking accountability for it, he comes at Robby with vitriol because he doesn’t like that Robby is 100% right in his resentment towards him. Nope. That’s not how that works. Johnny is not the wronged party in that relationship, it’s Robby. He neglected/abandoned Robby for his entire life, not the other way around. Then Johnny does exactly what Robby accuses him of, chooses Miguel. Both boys pushed him away but only Miguel gets Johnny coming back to make amends. That entire visit to Robby was nothing more than a front to dump on his son. First he’s all judgmental about the black eye, then he actually says hurtful words to Robby about Miguel. Hawk gets on my damn nerves but that innocent act had me cracking the heck up. That was a master class in manipulation. He’s low key a comedian.

2022-05-18 01:43:00 +0000 UTCThe thing about Sam is that when she was trying to come from a place of privilege or she thought she was better than others she was pretending to be in the right she was pretending to be the good guy while making horrible decisions that affected everybody but now she’s embracing her bad decisions she’s embracing that she isn’t a good person even if she pretends to be. Everyone has a sob story that doesn’t give you the right to be a bully is one of the most cringe lines because she never actually went through shit that wasn’t self-inflicted all the problems with Miguel began with her lying all the problems with Johnny were her lying her lying starts all the problems of season one and two

I think i read somewhere when someone sees a negative trait in a character that they have, they go extra hard on the character in terms of disliking them. To clarify, i have no opinions on Sam, so i don't care either way
