Even the guy from Supergirl in the comics is actually physically superior to Superman under a yellow sun. I say this because Young Justice follows more of the comics than the CW shows, and it's not really a spoiler.

Well there is a reason to tell her team mates, first the rings are encrypted, it seems per DNA, thats why the martian morphed. And second, their hole reason going back in time is to save Superboy. So yes, she would tell their team that so they can finally save him.
