Sadam Hussein was a horrible man but we literally put him in power, armed and supported him for years, and then declared him a dictator/terrorist and destroyed the entire country. We've also propped up horrible regimes in Central and South America all for profit and then helped stomp out possibly good leaders and democracies all in the name of money.
