The anime is a separate entity and may not even follow the original storyline detail for detail. Not that Merriam Webster is the one true arbiter of the English language, but it says a spoiler is: "information about the plot of a motion picture or TV program that can spoil a viewer's sense of surprise or suspense" If you can make a case for any of this information spoiling the surprise or suspense of the story, please change my mind.

It even affects his subordinates when they are around him. And the fire etc is the weapons, not any spells so they allow it. The troll has special armour and weapon too.

I think its cause when they did season one they didnt know back then if they would get renewed so they did some best of and now they are going back and trying to piece together these arcs best they can.

That's why Ainz asked if the Warrior King (a troll) would not laugh at his name.

You also miss that Ainz also just wanted to leave so he wouldn't have to talk to El Nix. That's why he was in a hurry to jet out. Ainz didn't use any spells he was using his undead abilities. Being that he is an Overlord of death he has a few powers that undead have. Like energy drain and skills that undead would have he could use. Remember this Ainz is still a human man in a undead body. So the way he sometime acts are from that point as well.

Saying it is one of his trump cards and can only be done once every 10 years is bullshit. That spell where he killed thousands last season wasn't even a trump card of his but it is unfathomable to the average person to think anything like that would just be a common spell he can use. He downplayed his own power to make it more understandable for the guy he was talking with and try to get in to fight the warrior king

It's an ancient Egyptian text about funeral rites and "spells" Egyptian priests would cast to help the soul through the underworld. In other words, Ains gave him a fake book to get old guy off his back.

Well by now I am used to anime skiping backstorys, but that is just sad, cuz they could do it in like 20seconds and it is so fucking good...aaaaaah, and the pre-entering arena fight got shortened to a single sentence, and the one that have almost no meaning wihout backstorys :C Aaaanyway.
