It's also about the college girl teasing her senpai. The next season to this anime is confirmed. So it's a good time to react to it too. To me, this is ranking 3rd in teasing anime. 2nd is Teasing Master Takagi San. 1st of course it's Nagatoro. I'm sure you and Director will loved her "Sugoi Dekai." 😉

I haven't looked into that part much but if they're not offering it then of course there would be more views for Uncle. I haven't exactly paid attention to who's exactly reacting to what since I for the most part only go to you for reactions, but even if they're big youtube channels and are reacting to Uncle but not Recoil then there's going to be a problem going by just views in my opinion.

Still hopeful for a reaction to it in the future, even if it's patreon only. As pointed out, though there are more people reacting to the other 2. But there aren't as much of them currently. I would see this as an opportunity to lure in more viewers. But then again weighing on risk vs award. Taking to the time to edit and produce the videos. But in the end I'm still hopeful for them to give Lycoris a go.

Me personally I don't get any kind of enjoyment from either of the shows you mentioned, they're very uninteresting from my viewpoint...again just me speaking how I see them and I know of course not everyone will agree with my opinion but no changing that. On the point of other channels reacting more to those 2 shows I believe I made my point on it so will not go into that anymore. It's a more complicated matter than I'll fully understand since I'm not the one making the content but just a single individual when you have to try to appease a lot of people the best you can. I will not change my opinion of believing you shouldn't fully take what others may say about a show whether good or bad until you're able to form your own opinion on it but as you've explained it isn't as simple as checking it out for a few episodes so in the end all I can really hope for is that a chance comes up to react to it or other shows as well. Never fully expected to go into the conversation to change the way you do things of course but mainly make my views on it understood.

The weekly rankings is really only used by me to know that it’s indeed a good show, so i can entertain watching it on my own if anything. I still like anime for myself even if it’s not something to “react” to. We do make exceptions of course but we can only handle so much exceptions at a time.

Change your YouTube to incognito and search “Lycoris Recoil” the support (views) for the reaction channels that cover it are low. Than type Uncle from another world, and Call Of the Night. The support “views” are higher. At least at the time we started the shows. Further yes. More reaction channels cover the other 2 shows as well. It allows me to rely on consistent information and make and informed decision. Blind on the shows content, informed how how many people will watch the shows compared to other shows.

It just sometimes sucks when either creators can't start a show they find interesting because of others opinions on it or will not give a show a try because people who may have seen 1 episode or even none at all but already formed a verdict on it based on the synopsis of the show. Not exactly sure what it's you're seeing or not seeing about Lycoris Recoil but it has been rated number 1 so far in the weekly ratings of summer anime. You might not see much about it because there aren't many big reactors watching it due to it honestly being overlooked or like I've said they formed a verdict about it before even watching. That's just my opinion though and if anything I don't necessarily expect you to watch it right away but wanna make sure it won't get lost in the mix and forgotten about.

That’ll lead to large amounts of incomplete shows that frustrate people. Also its not watching shows on my own time and not wanting to finish. Really nothing is lost when it’s just me. But I have a group that travels to record with me. I’m highly considerate of their time. If i hit 3 episodes of a show and have people subbed for it. I feel pressure to continue for their sake. So i do my best to make sure the show is worth RECORDING. I inevitably can’t react to every show. So we might well just pick well. This recoil, I believe is actually good. But I don’t see enough traction for it online. That’s all. This choice is about whether the algorithm will reward that show vs the other options we have

To explain Nagatoro's long nose at 9:53: We automatically think a long nose means lying because of Pinocchio, but there's a Japanese idiom "hana ga takai" which literally means "long nose" and is a reference to someone being proud/boastful. The idea is that a proud person will walk around with their nose held high in the air.

Which sucks since I didn't think a few shows they reacted to they wouldn't like but they ended up seeming to enjoy it. I'd rather them give shows a chance for a few episodes instead of letting others sway their opinions, especially since it's one of the highest rated and from what I've seen and heard more liked shows of this season. But that's just me complaining which is insignificant compared to all the people he has subscribed to him.

I totally love how the both of you will come in and be like I don't know what to say and then one of you will just say 1 thing and then that sets off the chain reaction for 10 minutes I absolutely love it💯

2022-08-12 15:17:54 +0000 UTCI knew once you looked past the 1st 2 episodes and continues watching this series, you’ll be attracted by Nagatoro. This is seriously a very wholesome anime and looking back at how both Nagatoro and Senpai’s character growth is amazing. You can really see a GROWTH on the both of them. It’s unlike some series where the characters stays the same throughout the whole season and there’s no growth at all (*coughrentalgirlfriendcough*). 1st few episodes Senpai will never stood up and speak his mind in front of authorities. And he doesn’t know how to compliment anyone too. And their growth is believable, it’s not like last episode forced a character growth type of stupidity, but actually seeing them growing a little every episode. This is one reason why I LOVED this anime. I loved seeing characters growing. Thank you for listening to us and stayed with the series. I’m glad you did.
