Ryuen is further inside the alley with Kushida in front of him. If Suzune were to try something, Kushida would have stopped her and even be Ryuen’s eyewitness to the accusations. Who else can be the best eyewitness to an accusation other than the person from the same class as you to testify against you? Kushida will make an excellent eyewitness against Suzune’s accusations. Furthermore Kushida has people’s support, while Suzune has less to none supporters. So more likely people will believe Kushida’s defending Ryuen than Suzune’s accusations against Ryuen.
