Cain and Able aren't the literal Cain and Abel but the storied versions of them that took residence in the Dreaming by the permission of Dream (Hence why Dream couldn't absorb them, he didn't create them) Johanna Constantine has taken the place of John Constantine mostly due to legal issues with HBO making a John Constantine show they were a bit strict about Netflix getting him so the showrunners decided to take a Sandman character that existed in the book later and just use the same actor for both roles
