Last episode ending was at the moment where shit hits the fan and this episode shows no progress to that plot. As you mentioned, they should've progressed the main plot as well. I also agree that this episode is crucial for El's character development.

She's stronger now and she realized where she belongs. They should have added a little bit of development for the main story here and there, then to me it would have been a really great episode like any other.
