Honenuki can only soften non living things. HM, Mirio could have traveled to the center of the earth, because he does not experience drag when he is falling, he needs about 2 minutes to reach it because he should get faster and faster as he falls, and gets closer to the gravity well that is the center of the earth. So maybe even faster than that. so he will travel faster than 2500 mph before he reaches the center. Also Mirio can only affect himself, so nuke :D
