(uncut) Jupter's Legacy Ep 1
Added 2021-05-28 22:46:49 +0000 UTCThere is a lot of projecting happening. Both Adorkable and i are pastors kids. That’s where my theology knowledge comes from. I was constantly neglected from my parents attention for the church lol. They’d skip MORTGAGE payments for the church. My father ripped up my Mistikal elf yugioh card! They hated Anime and DBZ. I had to sneak to watch it. ( I’m doing a lot of catching up reclaiming my childhood). So anyways. Lol. I also have an older sister who is actually the Smarter child. The A student who rebelled hard lol. So. Show really hits home on many areas.

2021-05-29 17:19:32 +0000 UTCI can see why Ace's backstory hit you so hard. Even your backstory in itself was tough.

2021-05-29 15:12:52 +0000 UTCyeah I often drop a disclaimer...that I'm logically wrong...but this is just how i feel about the matter...I don't necessarily want to be bound by logic since I have to do that when i make life decisions...lol...so this is foooooor the most part a nice free space to express myself......i say that with a grain of salt of course...i know to refrain from some comments and opinions of course

2021-05-29 01:10:18 +0000 UTCYBRL I could understand your point and why you reacted like that. Later episodes will open it up even more why Sheldon couldn't think that from his father. Why this show was good, I don't like that much superhero tropes. But somehow the characters and how it was shown got me hooked =)

2021-05-29 01:09:28 +0000 UTCI also will avoid talking if the the co reactor says a long paragraph lol. Because it’s too much talking. So their opinion will remain lol

2021-05-29 01:03:55 +0000 UTCYup. Adorkable is a bit younger and passionate. Some things she still needs to experience. She still lives at home in a rather sheltered environment. I won’t always correct her because we can spend the entire video with me correcting her. Lol. Like she thought rich people can sell their house when the economy tanked. She doesn’t necessarily know George may not have liquid assets now. Who can buy the home now in a bad market? It would likely sell less than it’s worth because demand would be low and the market saturated with people dumbing assets. If he owes more than house is worth. He’s done. Banks don’t loan much in those situations as well. Hahah. You gotta know that to have a “proper” opinion about how wealthy a person truly is in this situation. There is Jeff Bezos wealthy and Lisa Ann Wealthy. They can’t equally survive an economic down turn.

2021-05-29 01:03:04 +0000 UTCI see what you mean he is stubbron but from what we have seen and what you said he does actually have soem nuance to himself. I think he does see what they are saying but he thinks that if he waver on the slippery slope outside of his code then that will lead to an avalanche at least in my opinion. Also some of my criticism is despite you guys talking about it not being black and white Adorkable seems to being looking at it that way when it comes to Sheldon and she's building a bias against him. Also still to say that he should have seen the signs while not being in his exact situation is wrong, you don't know how panicked he was in the situation because of the crash and what exactly he was thinking. But I do get what you mean by naive Sheldon is probably too good of a person and that was probably amplified when he got powers and why he can't comprehend other people as well anymore and can't really be a dad.

2021-05-29 00:27:13 +0000 UTCAhhh you’re going to hear that I completely understand Sheldon at the end of episode 2. I do. It’s a very similar argument Jason Todd had with Batman about killing the Joker and Batman was adiment about not crossing the line. I logically understand Sheldon, but i let me emotions run free lol. He’s incredibly irritating to listen to as he’s challenged by those around him who carry Nuance. As far the suicide. You walk up during those situations and someone is on a roof. I do think it should he among the first thoughts to cross your mind. Even in ep 2 or 3 Sheldon is running the scenerio. That moment was a huuuuge res flag. Than Walt explained that Sheldon doesn’t even know is father as he had so much dirt apparently. Sheldon wasn’t a bit naive up to that point. If naive is a wrong choice. Perhaps you know what i mean. But he wasn’t seeing the picture. Even when Walt explained the numbers about the Pension. Sheldon couldn’t believe it.

2021-05-29 00:20:43 +0000 UTCSo is friday when you guys react to these episodes, and what time usually? I live in europe so if you can say your timezone with time :D. Try to get to see this live with you.

2021-05-29 00:19:04 +0000 UTCI don't think Sheldon is wrong or right but it's also complicated. You guys are pretty harsh on him but it's understandable why. Also it was a generally tense situation when Sheldon's dad comitted suicide so he probably didn't catch the signs so it's not fair to say he could have stopped it that's pretty fucked up.
