2021-06-16 22:05:24 +0000 UTCLike I said I love 00, probably my favorite Gundam overall, and the Miesters are fun characters, but that doesn’t change the action sequences kinda devolve into spamming lasers. It was especially absurd in the movie lol, setsuna has a beam saber so massive it just looks like a big laser beam. And the forecasting is a strong point of 00, but idk if it fully makes up for the action, a good war story should have a healthy balance of military tactics and small scale battle choreography

Dude who looked like a girl being over controlling. The sharp shooter. Was just cool. It was all about his assistant. Than the dark plan behind it all ultimately to help humanity???!!!! 00 drives. Fam. I’m already hype. I usually don’t respond about a serious like this 😭😂😂

2021-06-16 21:24:52 +0000 UTCThere’s way more to Gundam than beam weapons lol, but I get your point. The franchise had unquestionably gotten lazy with the choreography prior to IBO though. I love 00, but the action eventually turns into nothing but boring beam/blast spamming, and instead of getting creative and showing off pilots skills the suits just get faster and the beams just get bigger to the point of absurdity lol
