i agree, although parralels are definitelly there to see. so i understand. rayleigh has a scar on his eye, just like Zoro. He is a swords man, without a devil fruit just like Zoro. He was the first to join the crew, and at first said no/ didn't want to join, just like Zoro. And rayleigh was the first mat/ second in command after the captain, just like Zoro. so i definitely get what they are talking about. but i agree with you, its just a scar. in the face, which is a common place for scars when you fight people. face / head is one of the main targets after all.

true, but personally i don't think it is THAT bad. especially since they are together and can talk in those scenes. and i feel like i noticed these stretched out moments before as well, not like its completely new.

Don't wanna be a downer. But from here on out, One Piece anime tends to drag out scenes unnecessarily. You already seen it in Marineford, when they cycled through people's reaction/faces, and that was just the "tip" of the ice berg. From this point onward, it's like Toei Animation realized they got the audience hooked. So they try to milk the heck out of every episode. If you can look past these pacing issues, honestly One Piece post-timeskip is as hype as the pre-timeskip.
