They were volunteers and not really the official force, but when fuze mentioned that they were all "prepared" he meant that they were ready to die helping Rimuru and it was from an outside perspective very much a lost war. 2023-09-27 20:32:52 +0000 UTCThe reinforcement from Blumund was late because if you remember, the estimated war was supposed to take place in the next 3 days, based on how long it would take for the Falmuth army to reach TJF. Nobody expected Rimuru to bring the fight to them and wipe them out so fast. Blumund probably had no way to get to TJF any faster without any real transportation magic. They are a very small nation after all. So much so that they only had 50 soldiers.

2023-05-20 03:48:17 +0000 UTCI wouldn't doubt it if Diablo's appearance is a reference to black butler series since Slime is that kind of series, but this theory doesn't hold much water because Diablo has no contract with Rimuru where he would gain Rimuru's soul if he died, unlike his contract with the girl on the OVA or their contract in black butler. Those kinds of contracts are stated explicitly right at the start. We know the price Rimuru paid for Diablo was the body of the Falmuth soldiers.

We know later on this season that Rimuru barely manages to keep up with Milim's attacks (and apparently would've died if Veldora didn't block one of her attacks with his head). In contrast, we saw Veldora handle her with much more ease. Even the one attack alone where Rimuru thought he would've been done for we saw Veldora taking without getting injured at all, so....

The first are Demon Lord to have that title you have to be strong enough to have it and have 2 other Demon Lords voucher for you if you don't have those 2 vouche for you you make an enemy of the others. The other are True Demon Lords.

Basically, no matter what she does to something she's all but guaranteed to get the results she has in mind. The problem is that, when it comes to cooking, Shion only has two goals in mind: 1) Don't kill Rimuru or cause him any lasting harm, and 2) get him to praise her on how it tastes. All other concerns like how it looks, how it interacts with the environment around it, whether or not certain ingredients belong in this dish or if it's supposed to be prepared in this manner, none of that crosses her mind. All that matters to her is that she can keep her beloved Rimuru safe and happy, bringing a smile to his face with her "delicious" cooking
