I'm one of the tallest people in my immediate family and i'm only 5' 8". I didn't really think I was short until all of my peeps shot up past 6 foot. Now i'm 34 years old and almost all of my friends got almost a full foot on me (slight exageration... but not by much). lmao.

2021-12-18 08:38:41 +0000 UTCBut at the same time you gotta think in places like Japan I am almost natural height for a lot of the guys so it isn't exactly abnormal to be short. Also at the same time you have some guys in Japan over 6 feet tall. It all just depends even though the "on average" height can depend a lot on the specific population. From what I remember Japan just has a short height average.

Coming from a short 5'4 adult like myself I end up getting annoyed when short people are trashed on and naturally disliked. Some of us have conditions that make us that way. I have a specific condition that made me short. I am taller than the doctors actually predicted. Thought I MIGHT potentially reach 5 foot. I'm not shitting on you guys for it but come on now.

I know there was a lot of push-back with the english dub but I am not sure if Japan also realized it was off-putting for viewers.
