While I enjoy Log Horizon, I fully admit it isn't the best. It has flaws. This episode is one that I dislike because of that long ass monologue.

2021-08-12 18:40:04 +0000 UTCThe cutting off a piece of their hair is not totally uncommon in cultures but it's mostly seen in anime (and ATLA) where a character who is experiencing a change or a event in their life cuts their hair to show that they are now different. It's a spiritual thing. In Japan though, it dates back to the Edo period where they cut off their Topknots when they stopped being samurais to show that, that part of their life is gone. Since a Topknot was a symbol for the Samurai social class. The best takeaway from it, is that it symbolize a spiritual show of change for their character from a event. Like how some Animes and shows have a character cut their hair after a breakup.

Deam my boi elf GM brings back the memorys...it is so rare these days to have a high tier guild, that still have great atmosphere...now it feels like it is "choose one": Go hardcore, and clear hardest raids, but do it in super toxic enviroment...something like an army OR play with chill people, but you won't be able to do anything, beacuse these noobs dont have time/skill to learn harder fights
