the reason they are still alive but mutilated and look like that is the result of shions desire to cook, the skill she got master chef ultimately evolved into a skill that lets shion to have complete manipulation over the law of causality

Diablo is the kinda guy who you ask "Yo can you get me a glass of milk" and he will the finest glass of milk you didn't ask for. Then you later found out that it involved torturing farmers and nobels until he found the best supplier of milk. Once that he found the supplier he exstorted the farm and made them sign an exclusive contract with Tempest and cursed them with the inability stop making milk for tempest... But sure enough that was a fine ass glass of milk. If you want examples of this behavour: in S1 E24 he planned to murder the entire contentce of a room because it was simpler then trying to methodically find the demon he was hunting for, stopped only but his peeked intrest in the mask. or in S2 E11 where he proclaimed that his orders to not "kill" his target didn't mean he couldn't torture him. Whats worst if he isn't going to betray Rimuru, his aparent overt loyalty just screams that he will overdo it again to please his Master and get the "Pats" He was thirsting for in S2 E12.

2021-08-01 21:51:11 +0000 UTCwell in the light novel they go into detail of how shion tortured them... she cut their limbs and used her unique skill “Cook” to feed it to them and then used rimuru potion to fully re-Heal and regrow their limbs while repeating this process of “feeding” and healing till she was completely satisfied.

2021-07-28 23:26:49 +0000 UTCI dunno if y'all remember but from last season Diablo was a good guy, that end season episode were the 2 famous heros summoned him to help expose the currupt kingdom with the ifrit girl. That's why I don't see him as a bad guy, cause he kinda does what he's summoned for cause even then there wasn't a hidden agenda

I dunno if it was a mandate throughout this whole epsiode but the fact that you can't go 3 shot changes without an angle on Veldora completely ignoring the discussions was perfect! Thanks for the reactions and discussions Its gotten too the point that whilst i watch the anime i am thinking "I wonder what the boys will say about this" :P I think i am becoming a simp now.
