What I'll say for next season is to move on from the situation with Kozue and Baki cause it takes a backseat because it's not super important to the grand scheme of Baki. In my opinion the author created a will they won't they romance subplot got tired of it and had them do it get in a relationship and move on from it. Nothing against romance but in a series like Baki romance doesn't sit in the front row, it has a seat in the nosebleed section of the bleachers in my opinion. Even in this Baki vs Ali Jr. situation Kozue just so happened to be there, she didn't make Baki stronger and she didn't make Ali stronger. The people that Ali fought made him stronger, Kozue was just a reason that Ali found because part of the philosophy that I think Baki shows are the reasons why you do things like why the fighter keep fighting. Baki already knows his reasons and Ali tried to find his but he just wasn't there yet. If Kozue wasn't there Ali would have just found another reason to fight Baki. Baki did state that he still cares and loves her but doesn’t control who she decides to love. To me it seems as if he is just doing his own thing and letting her make the choice of who she wants. Regardless Baki is going to accomplish his goals with or without her. If she truly loves him why be hesitant? So honestly Baki should just keep doing his thing in accomplishing his goal of beating his dad.

I understood Baki finally could imagine his father and at the same time he could do that Yujiro felt it while he was in Africa. That is how I got that last scene, time was just put there to show us the exact time when Baki started to be so close to Yujiro's level that even the ogre himself felt it. Baki went planetary in simple words :D
