2021-07-30 00:01:32 +0000 UTCAgree. When it come to Sanji, Oda seemed to like depicting him a little complicated and confusing in character. And it is interesting and wildcard up to different interpretation from different perspective. But when looking a little more depth in Sanji character, he always said something rougher or more mean than he acts. Maybe because he wanted to act like Zeff, from whom he looks up to from the bottom of his heart. Zeff's love is not dedicated, he is a tough guys giving tough love when he cares. But when Sanji who has a kind heart but always want to act rough and tough like Zeff, it may induce confusing message. This is what I interpret. Anyway, One Piece is interesting because it is okay to comprehend in different perspective and it still fits.

He even held on to its legs for dear life just so it wouldn't attack Zoro, Usopp and Brook. Sanji also tried to protect Zoro's dream and his life when he offered his life to Kuma in thriller bark to save Zoro and the crew. But Zoro, instead, knocked out Sanji to save Sanji and the crew.
