This basically sets up Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse (imo the best of the 3 Castlevania games released on the original NES). Alucard as a Dhampir is a dope concept. Besides death by being staked and beheaded, they don't have any of the classical Vampiric weaknesses. Alucard is a returning character in a few other Castlevania games: Symphony Of The Night (one of the greatest playstation games of all time imo), Castlevania Legends (Game Boy) (Later removed from Canon by the creator) Aria Of Sorrow (Game Boy Advance) Dawn Of Sorrow (Nintendo DS) He also appears in Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, but that's a different continuity to the mainline Castlevania games.
