I've been watching the dub with this first time and it sounds great, maybe princess has bit of raspy artificially high voice like sis in Code Geass, and some typical 2000s forced yelling (like Misty telling off Brock) but those are super nitpicky

2024-06-14 04:30:36 +0000 UTCI think gurren operates just like a motorcycle in that you have to "hold the clutch" and "break" "shifters" while in gear in order for it to do anything. What I mean is that if you aren't squeezing both handles, it draws energy from your passion "fighting spirit" (Let's call this mankind's ability to change and innovate, lets call it the ability to keep moving forward, (SPOILERS: Lets call it s.energy) . But it moves based on the strength and direction of your intent. Most don't have the strength of intent (Lets call it CONFIDENCE) that Kamina had and Simon is developing.
