TBF, Fishman Island would have been ABLE TO MEET THOSE DEMANDS EASILY, if they hadn't been fuckbois and had taken the security seriously by imprisoning/executing obvious terrorists like Hordy & co (they know these fuckers are fucking shit up years before what happened recently there, and they all know Hordy & bois are supremacists, and would likely target a factory so vital to get support from a non-Fishman like Big Mom). It's not Big Mom's problem if they are too dumb to run proper security in THEIR OWN FUCKING KINGDOM, no? I think it's called volcanized rubber, and people thought it would be a powerup he'd get at some point. The dark coloring on him now though is just Haki. Now that it's been revealed, Oda started visually showing it being used. Anyone using Armament Haki will usually have the dark coloring now.
