I'm anime only, but we literally saw Elsa get crushed by the hippo. Even if she regenerates, she surely has nowhere to regenerate to being under the hippo, no? She's no Pandora... To clear up the misunderstanding regarding Ram, I don't believe her horn is something she can get back, it was cut off. It was explained in S1 that Oni manifest their horns as a way to take in mana from the surrounding and power themselves up. This is how Rem gets stronger with her horn, and why Ram can't do the same without her horn. She can use magic, but has no way to take in magic to recover it, hence why every time we see her use magic, she always collapses or need to be carried by Subaru. We see Roswaal touching the spot where her horn used to be in this ep and also in S1. This is him literally recharging Ram's mana for her since she can't do it herself and he is responsible for her losing her horn, so it's like a symbol of atonement for what did to her, especially in this episode. Also, this is barely shown in the episode so I doubt many people caught/realized it. When Emilia was talking to Shima, we suddenly hear Echidna's voice saying "Unbelievable, you see this and that's the first thing you think of?" coming out of Shima. If you remember, the Ryuzu clones were originally created as a way for Echidna to reach immmortality, and based on this, we can surmise that she succeeded. Most likely, Shima from this point on is actually Echidna from the tea party who has taken over Shima's body. This is not confirmed obviously, but I can't think of another reason why we'd hear Echidna's voice at that point. Echidna's last thought with Beatrice this ep was "I hope you live healthy at least"...I think the blank book is supposed to be her way to tell Beatrice to choose her own future and who will inherit the knowledge rather than following some book. Also Subaru saying "forget this crush" is referring to Beatrice's obsession with "that person", who Subaru is saying is some random person she wouldn't recognize anyway.
