That will make more sense later on, but every name has a meaning that reflects the character like Magna Suwingu (Great Swing) or Vanessa Enoteca "Butterfly Wine Repository" and so forth. Adorkable is correct though, Nova refers to small scale stellar explosion, as opposed to a supernova. They are called that because when a stellar nova was first observed it was mistaken for a bright new star, a stella nova

But, they have an extremely strong military that’s lead by a charismatic general. Slowly the actual authority that the monarch has will diminish and the general slowly assumes control of the country. It’s kinda like that from what I’ve gathered. But that switch seems to have happened long ago.

I love how Black Clover handles its filler, wish most shows did it this way. Of course, later on there's definitely a few filler episodes that aren't really important, but even then, most every filler episode is still enjoyable. Cept for the flashback episodes. Fuck those
