Oh if you are curious, there is a reason fugo never came back, arakI originally intended to have him be used by the boss to attack the crew, but arakI was in a bad mental place and he didn’t want to have to think about them having to fight their friends and the betrayal and how people like narancia would feel. I think it’s fine and works, but it would have been a cool ova or something

Now that you are caught up on the anime, what is your favorite stand?

The way I kinda understand the differences between King Crimson, GER (Gold Experience Requiem) & Rolling Stones. And their powers revolving around fate. Is that King Crimson is the rejection of fate. Right after Diavolo was under the effects of GER. He's line. " I never moved to begin with! " was emblematic of he's character. He rejected fate so he could never change. He never moved to begin with. GER & Rolling Stones to my understanding are very similar conceptually. Both control fate but GER is the forcing of fate vs Stones who is the acceptance of fate.

You guys noticed that the rock is exactly how Bruno dies in the church. you guys actually pretty much nailed what happened in the ending. There's also a tiny line where it says Fugo was originally going to look into who killed Luca at the start of the part. Bruno was always fated to die to the boss to uphold his morals but when Mista broke the rock he changed fate making Bruno the one who goes to see Giorno and that starts them on the whole journey with Giorno. It shows how they could have easily only had Bruno die but the boss would still be out there poisoning Italy. It was either only Bruno dies and the boss survives or they meet Giorno and 3 of them die but they save the country. They may have now been fated to go on the harder road but that hard road is what made them all find meaning in their lives in the end. Abbacchio learned to entrust the future to the ones left behind even leaving a final clue only Giorno could solve cause he had finally gained trust in people again. Narancia realized what he wanted to really do was leave the gangster life behind, go back to school, and above all protect his friends. And of course Bruno stopped letting the gangster life corrupt him and died upholding his morals in a world without morals. The fateful meeting with Giorno all gave their lives meaning again like the sculptor dude said. I can only pray that they are sleeping slaves(slaves to fate) who will find some meaning when they awaken (die). I also love the cosmic irony of Diavolo's infinite death loop cause if you think about it he is now experiencing what every victim of King Crimson felt. Never knowing when or how their death is coming. The universe is literally punishing him for escaping his fate with his stand so many times.

So Diavolo (meaning Devil) dies to the son of DIO (meaning God meaning Giorno is Jesus) who has power over life and now reality, who came to Buccellati's gang and "woke them up" from their sleeping slavery to the Boss to find some meaning. Diavolo also goes to a place of eternal torture by his hand. If Giorno ain't a Jesus-figure I don't know what is, even Gold Experience Requiem looks holy in the ED.
