I think it has less to do with being stubborn and everything to do with being capable of thinking.. in other words "Intelligent". Pigs will stay in the pins because they lack the ability to have an intelligent thought.. that is the main difference between man and animal.

They have no problem killing, but at this rate they are killing to many humans. Pigs will stay in the pins, but humans will continue to fight to escape them and the pin.

A better way doing what they are doing, would be fight the human way. Build an army, make some claim about a land, or title of the land, and then make war. Humans did it all the time, Carmilla's plan could work, if she didnt want ALL, and that NOW. Her greed will be her downfall. In your description it says "You can suggest shows her to be permanently logged." but i think it should be "here"
