I'm super glad Lee picked out the thematic detail that everyone has completely different reasons for why they're in debt so much, from bad investments to a boss that hasn't paid you in SIX MONTHS, it's that kind of broad diversity that lets you root for anyone of them you feel the most connected with. Also thank you so god damn much for posting the second ep right after the first, a week between I woulda went damn near crazy lmao

Any other generic show wouldn't have given the players the choice to leave, but in this show they actually let the participants leave... Which gave us a nice backstory episode for all the key characters, and a moment to breathe in between all the craziness in this show.
