Issei basically had eternal life as a demon but because he combined with the white dragons power on top of the red dragon he took a chunk of that eternal life away. He is still going to live a very long time but he is no longer close to eternal life of never dying like he would have been. He still will have a much much longer life span than humans though because he is an actual demon now.

2021-10-03 15:50:31 +0000 UTCYes I agree that they are interesting episodes but you could have moved all the episodes back three and started season3 with the hugely plot important rating game between Sona and Rias, which sets up several critical character developments for Issei, Kiba, and especially Saji and his sacred gear… that pays off in season 4

2021-10-01 22:38:17 +0000 UTCYeah season 3 episode 10-12 is basically like filler. You can watch it if you want but it’s not content from the original novel. The author didn’t like what the studio did with the anime by changing the story so he switched animation studios and made the artwork look more like the novel illustrations. Season 4 also picks up where the anime started to branch off from the story which is why it has an Episode 0. You guys should definitely watch that. Also there’s a canon OVA called Resurrected Phoenix that you guys should watch after season 3 cuz that episode is connected to season 4

2021-10-01 11:05:53 +0000 UTCThat Boost Scene against Vali is reason i did fall in love with the series. It has comedy, serious moments, and also these epic moments. The 1st season explained the 3 factions, and eased us into the world of Demons. The 2nd season focused on the history, and future of the 3 factions, and also dropped big names. Seasons 3 seems to expand onto other mythological parties, like the Buddist one, and Norse.
