It really depends on how much of a skill gap exists, and in the case of Ruijerd and Rudeus it is clear it is meant to be a big one. I was state scholastic champion in standard, and half of the bughouse open state championship team the same year , I wouldn't presume I could handle a Grandmaster under normal circumstances, but being able to go back a move or two whenever I wanted I'd expect to have good odds on most masters, with Grandmasters still probably only being a fluke if I won.

I go with Season 1, second cour for this reason: It was inteneded as a 23 episode/ 2 cour season. Breaks between cours are not unprecdented. As the next season will likely be 2 cours, and the season after will likely be 2 cours, it would be strange to call the first 2 cours season 1 and 2.

(Lets be real they can't NOT explain it as it is just that important. :/ I hate ppl who "well in the LN blah blah" humble brag spoil stuff... I've read all the LN too, let them enjoy the story presented by the anime, I trust the studio to do the right thing, they are amazing so far.

Basically, feints completely screw with his ability because he has to determine in 1 second which is really going to hit him, and react to it, even if he were to narrow it down with less time into the future Ruijerd is fast enough that that it doesn't matter. Basically, if someones alot fast than his reactions they still body him; if they mix feints it overwhelms him.

Friend of mine was training with the sword, and according to him from observing body movements and previous swings you can predict what opponent will do, kinda like in chess a good player knows what opponent want to do long before he does it. And as you know I am a chess player, a good one at that, and trust me I can most likely effordlessly beat anyone here if you could take back few moves at any time, beacuse I can see up to 12 moves in the future anyway, so your ability to take moves back wouldn't do much, cuz most likely by the time you see what I want to do it would be too late to do anything abaut that, even with taking 3 moves back

Just because it says episode 12 at the end doesn't change anything, directors or series and animators also post thank you for watching episode 97,98,99,100,101 and so on so forth for every My Hero episode that comes out, I'm not sure why you even brought that up. Also the official Toho title in Japanese has it listen as volume 2. Which is what's written for second seasons ect,ect.. Not to mention the fact it's specifically stated on the mushokutensei.jp website that it's season 2 as they didn't use the katakana that's interchangable but instead used アニメ第2 which directly translates to second season
