He's hasn't killed anyone yet, and hasn't gotten into life or death situations against other people before this. If you count the kidnappers originally you gotta remember he froze there too and that scarred him

Basically he scammed the North Saint dude since he used an attack name that he knows that all North God Style users cover themselves when it happens, despite him just yeeting random shit at the dude that isn't rly related at all to whatever the technique the name is for in North God Style, but still works as a bluff since the dude assumes he's going to use some North God Style technique on him cuz he shouted the name of the attack

2021-10-18 00:58:34 +0000 UTC(no spoilers) beginner -intermediate - advanced - saint - king - emperor - divine are the ranks for both magic and sword as mentioned in episode 1, and the 3 styles of swordplay are "sword god(style)" "water god(style)" and "north god(style)". Totally understand why some people forget as it's not mentioned too much. We know for example Ghislaine is a sword king in the sword god style.
