I like to go to Aninews on YouTube to get things that were missed by the anime. He is usually really careful about not saying anything he think may be revealed later in the anime, only things that were clearly missed. For example, giving more detail into what happened to Aisha and Lilia before Rudy found them

I agree about the anime only stuff. However I do like watching breakdowns of what the anime missed in any given episode. Although I prefer to see if the next episode covers it, so I usually watch the novel summary for 2 episodes prior to the one I'm on.

Yes, the reason the anime doesn't do the manga justice is because it does the Light Novel justice which is the source material. The consensus is that the manga is the worst adaptation of this series. This scene is by far greater than the manga counterpart and is more faithful as an adaptation to the source material. Anyway, we can agree to disagree cause this isn't the place for me to do a comparison and point out specific details as to why the manga is just a bad adaptation. Inducing an emotional response from the reader but at the expense of a false portrayal of the source material and for the wrong reasons doesn't equate to it being good. Source: Trust me bro. honestly the most dramatic incredibly overanimated for no reason thing i can think of in an anime was kyon putting something on a white board with double sided tape in the dissapearence of haruhi suzumiya(btw i believe that is the greatest anime movie of the past 20 years at least) i'd almost say do a reaction to it, but you really need to watch the anime series first. but my god is it good if you do.

We know he cares about them. As for the 1st name. I’ve had some time to consider traditions but over here pretty much various cultures in America. We don’t call our parents by the first name. It’s actually disrespectful. Best example is a step dad situation. Step dad is often called their first name until the child accepts them as a parent and says “dad” it’s also common in movies so i know I’m not tripping. The end of the movies the child says “dad” and everyone cries. Saying Paul it itself alone doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about him. In fact I literally said you gotta be close to check each other like that. but it’s something to pay attention to as an anime only his choice of saying Paul or Dad as thats a sign of how he views Paul as a Dad or Man who happened to take care of him. In this episode. It wrapped it up that it’s Dad and they embraced each other. Our opinions wasn’t too far off

Oh lord Director Nasty got Rudy and Family all wrong. Rudy was estranged from his first family. He likes his new family way more than his last family. Using Paul's name does not mean he cares less for him. The crisis point for Rudy was that the fight with Paul broke the relationship. Rudy was so stressed about trying to repair the relationship that he vomited.

No no no, see- That was the first time Norn met Rudy, but not the first time Rudy met Norn. Their last interaction was when Norn was still a baby. Meaning to her all she saw was some stranger beating up her dad, if I was her I wouldn't want to say bye either lol.

Deam this series is so incredible. They can have second episode dedicated to reunion between Rudy and Paul and NOTHING ELSE, and still be great. Aslo it is painful when random bread have more animation budget than 3rd most powerfull army on the continent...who knows, knows xD

Eris dad is Philip and her grandfather was Sauros who got beheaded. Well now you seen more clearly Paul's backstory for this event which if really give time and think it through should have been obvious he was just depressed and thinking he lost everybody from his family, but her little daughter.
