As it was only before talked in anime when Shalltear was talking to Sebas in the carriage about her maker and the voice acting in poetic way as they couldn't understand it clearly what their makers were talking as for them it's so out of context what they know. Ps. Another point you might easily miss that our green lizard was "traveler" too like our frost pain wielder. That is the tattoo on their chests mean and only ones in this show who have it on lizardmen side.
