I dont like them getting arrested by the law. The most they'll get is just execution, if even that. All those fuckers better be skinned alive and get their dicks and balls cut off. Keep them alive with healing magic as you flay their skin little by little.

Leo

Dont sweat it. This user hardly had anything to say positive. Imagine paying for a reaction to people that have no emotion cuz the characters are not real. It doesn’t even make sense lol. YOU WANT US TO FEEL SOMETHING lol. Something got him triggered lol. There are comments like this. That make so little sense. I don’t even get mad cuz its founded on nonsenses. I thank Chibears for looking out

Rock Lee

No, their reaction was perfectly normal, nothing weak about it. Its this little thing humans have called empathy even if the characters aren't real. Just because many movies are fictional doesn't mean they can't make you feel certain ways. I find your comment ignorant as well as rude saying anyone who feels a way about this episode is weak because they feel things.

chibears .

To get this angry over fictional characters you 2 are very weak.

Overlord_Ashalon

The novel isn't necessarily the be-all-end-all. Tensura for instance i'd say the manga is the best version, not the novel. It goes into greater detail than the anime and the relationships are more fleshed out than in the novel.

Overlord_Ashalon

This was a very hard episode to watch. It was tough fighting back the tears.

MurasakiKuro

This was the only episode that gave me Redo of Healer flashbacks. Even though I didn't like Redo, it proves the author is talented to be able to write across such a wide range.

John A.

We are doing Dororo at our pace, thats why i haven't released that one lol...Samurai Champloo eventually i guess lol

Rock Lee

I will keep on waiting for samurai champloo dub for me 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺but what’re you want I’ll keep waiting on series reaction ending for either samurai champloo or dororo I would be fine with either really😊😊😊😊😊

BoxHead

@BryceJackson I know the trading company is real. I put trading company In quotes because he’s undercover. That’s literally it. And I never said the episode was to much. I just said there was no reason to waste half the episode on it. And is it a no brainier or probably ? Lol, that’s what I’m saying we don’t know . If they join his trading company (I won’t put it in quotes this time.) then this episode would make more sense to me as to why we were shown what they went through.

ExhaustedZzzombie

Japanese also pronounce it differently, just simply follow how they are, its not complicated.

Peacefinder Simply

Question ever since I became a patron member I do not watch anything on YouTube would you still like me to watch stuff on YouTube and like it ..... andyes I am subscribed to all of your channels

Brian Carotenuto

Patreon is the same. I do use a timer than I’m mindful of lol

Rock Lee

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lugh Here's how you pronounce it, right at the start

Skebaba

I’m not entirely sure why you put trading company in quotes? Is this meant to mean his trading company is fake? Cause by my understanding the one he is slipping into as the son of is a real company he is just playing the role of an illegitimate son of the owner (prostitute mother) as for why they spent time here on this. Yes it’s a bit much but we also need to see how the corrupt nobles of this land are. That’s the entire point of his family to assassinate this kinda crap when it can’t be brought to justice (which seems to be the case here) if all the show told us was some of the nobles are horrible corrupt pieces of shit and don’t actually show us how they are like that kinda takes away from the enjoyment of watching them get what’s coming to them. As for the girls he leaves I imagine they probably will join up as employees once Maha tells him about them as why would you let people who seem to trust his next confidant quite a lot seems like a no brainier they’d join his company

Bryce Jackson

Gonna have to take a few weeks off of this one for me lol . Unless all the girls end up joining his “trading company” .. I skipped literally half of the episode and still got a good idea of what happened in this episode … to me there was no reason to waste over half the episode showing us what we already know about “this world” in my opinion.

ExhaustedZzzombie

How are you guys pronouncing Lugh? Cause I swear I heard you say it like L-uh. Just so I at least let it be known you pronounce the MC's birth name Lugh as L-oo like Looney tunes. Its literally just the LOO part in how you pronounce looney tunes. But besides that this was another great episode. Can't wait to read the manga portion for this episode. If anyone watches this and does not get frustrated and angry they aren't human bruh. That absolutely pissed me off how they took little girls innocence and purity from them against their will. A bunch of ugly bastards. As much as it sucked it was a good realistic backstory for the last girl in the harem lol. If it wasn't so realistic like it wouldn't hit as hard. I would have for sure held those guys down and gave the girls a gritty crappy rusty knife and told them to slowly cut their dicks off to show them half the misery they put them through. That's what my messed up mind would have come up with out of anger against something like that lol

L.C.

Nah I read the novel as well they didnt gloss over it in the novel either. There was a couple chapters dedicated to her story.

Kurma

Might have to pick up the novels then, I’ve got a sneaking suspicion Lugh and Dias bond has been down played in the anime, which I get time constraints. But hearing this whole episode was that dragged out from the source material is annoying

Kollie123

one crazy theory I have is that the goddess set this whole shit up, she sus so I can see her doin it smh

Jimuel

ooph. Well, while there is good advice I heard once: If you have someone like that, you kill them clean, with a single stroke. That way you don't become more like them. ... That being said... I probably wouldn't be. Wish stuff like that didn't happen in our world, too.

Iejir Isk

Really hard to watch but honestly its very realistic of what happened back then in that age. Thats how human trafficking and prostetutes where most likely brought into being was through being homeless children on the streets or in orphanages run by scum. Makes me sick thinking about how this happens to women in real life to this day.

SharkMessiah101

I listen to intro on shows that really interest me and this show isn't that much a favorite of mine. If they were speculating on like Faraway Paladin then would listen to their talks and guessing game more =)

Thamor

I still think when Dia said when they were in bed "Oh, you still don't know" is a clear hint that they are promised to each other. So fiancee and they will get back together when Lugh has done his merchant trial.

Thamor

Filler episode totally, they really wanted to give the blue haired girl her own full episode. As all the other girls in Lugh's party got their own...Silver hair mage, Tarte and now the blue hair.

Thamor

Well it's the author of Redo Healer of course there are these kind of little nasty things, at least we weren't actually shown anything. I really was thinking all, but Maha would do suicide because how they were forced to live. Think the point was him involving the law was that he isn't Lugh "The assassin", but Balor "The Merchant" so his character isn't killing anybody when he is doing that trial to be merchant. So he played his character correctly by involving the guards/police or whatever is the law in that world.

Thamor

I liked it myself. To many anime sum up things way to quick and it just has no emotional impact, this really made the characterization better imo.

Peacefinder Simply

from what my homies said the ed is canon like you said. Like Lugh and Dia had more interactions in source material but due to time constraint to move the plot forward, they integrated that through the ED instead. Kinda smart tbh He said Lugh been sneaking out at night to meet Dia and stuff.

Jimuel

Of all the things to draw out longer than the novel.

TitanMachine

I read the novel a bit ago, and the plight of the girls, up to the point that Lugh shows up to buy one is just over 1 page long. The anime went into more detail. I'll repeat that. A large part of the episode was 1 page in the novel. They really spent longer on it than they had to. In this case I think the adaptation did go a little overboard. Everyone already knows that trafficking children is messed up, and horrid, don't have to make us sit through 15 minutes of it, Director Nasty is right.

TitanMachine

it will stay same on patreon from what i understand

Peacefinder Simply

Please do not cut anything before or after I love listening to you guys talk about your theories on everything please I'm begging you on hand and knees don't cut anything

Brian Carotenuto

that threw a lot of people off including myself

Peacefinder Simply

Connor IS a girl, she's the brown haired girl.

Mintteacup

I liked this episode a lot myself, i'm glad they spent the time on this backstory really makes me feel invested in her character way more. I've seen stories where they condense very similar things it just feels more empty and just words, not nearly as much impact.

Peacefinder Simply

It's been a long time since an anime had me saying "Fuck this whole episode".

AbelToGame

man I can't wait for more episodes

Dimple leader

is it really only 23% that watch you intro, i usually watch first couple minutes then skip to anime reaction then listen to discussion for about 2-3 minutes then stop.

Peacefinder Simply

I think the reason he "left" her for the three days was to solidify her trust and adoration for him. Kinda like with Tarte he saved her from the wolves gave her food and in a phycological way brain washed her. Chances are this is the same thing. He KNEW the who what were and when of the entire thing with Maha hence Tarte being there before them. All planned. The dudes a genius with manipulation

Bryce Jackson

they only show the same few girls so i think Connor and Noine are the same person she maybe pretended to be a boy when they were younger and the gender seemed more vague

Saskatchatoon24

Thanks man

Rock Lee

I made a comment on episode 4 or 5 about the ending and how I think it might actually be canon or something, and this episode really confirms that to me. The ending keeps showing Lugh come see Dia through a window, but in this episode he doesn’t appear, which makes perfect sense because he’s been away working undercover as the merchant son for two years. Dia feels largely discarded after episode 3, so I’m curious to see when she’s gonna come back up and if the events of the ending are actually going to be shown in episode or maybe mentioned

Kollie123

Haha. Thanks man

Rock Lee

that means only 23% get to enjoy both your guys all out laughs at your jokes
