The point is when an army you can’t oppose makes a move on your tiny population and is actively silencing people voicing opposition, no amount of legality will matter. Queen bee is a terrorist, you think she cares what another country’s congress says? She orchestrated a incredibly flimsy scenario to get what she wanted and move in after with brute force. It’s also a show for kids, it doesn’t always have flawless logic, I was only pointing out something that got lost during the discussion. It making full sense or not doesn’t change the fact that it’s what’s being presented to us in the story lol

They have a president and a democratic process which means they probably have a constitution, no way on earth could he just let in a foreign army cus he said so, it'd prolly have to go through congress. If he was just a "benevolent" dictator and this happened then fine but once you make it a democracy they're too many hoops to jump through for it to make sense.

But Quarc? He let queen bees army into the country and it’s pretty clear at that point Quarc wasn’t capable of opposing them. Then people clearly weren’t okay with what was happening, but if you lack the means to properly fight the oppressive force oppressing you than it’s as simple as that

If he steps down their constitution would dictate who replaces him. If Biden stepped down right now he couldn't just hand the country over to a dictator, we have a constitution. We'd have to go to war and be conquered for that shit to happen.

You guys are the first people i've seen bring up the cultural aspect in regards to assimilation vs maintaining your own culture even in a new place. It was a great convo that i really enjoyed. 2021-11-15 16:05:43 +0000 UTCOllie laughing at the situation at the beginning while canary is pissed is never not funny lol You guys were talking a lot about the morality of the league interfering in two dictators going at it, but the guy wasn’t a dictator, they said at the start he was an elected official, not trying to nag on ya or anything you guys were talking doing your thing and missed it is all. The league was getting sus because it was uncharacteristic of that country to be getting clapped by it’s government like that and they know mind control could be involved. It also looked like you guys might’ve missed miss M brain blasting her friends to keep her secret, or at least I think only adorkable caught it, I was surprised she didn’t bring it up, it’s one of the worst things Miss M has done period
