Without spoiling, the only thing I don't like about 0 is the retcon, but given the series is about multiple timelines, it isn't really even a recon as far as I'm concerned, so Episode 25 is completely canon, despite being anime filler. Since the series is based off 2 visual novels (S;G and 0) Episode 25 and its movie continuation aren't considered canon, but as far as I'm concerned they're canon for the anime.

The OVA (episode 25) was meant to be the closure to the series, and works well until they released S;G0, which kinda retcons some of the episode. I would still watch ep. 25 to finish off the main series as it concludes some themes and details that have been building through out the series. Then watch Stein's;Gate 0 which starts with "Episode 23b" where Okabe doesn't receive the Dmail Video for reasons other commenters have already spoiled.

If you're gonna watch Stein's;Gate 0, the second season of Stein's;Gate, then yes you should watch the OVA Divide By Zero, listed as episode 23b of Season 2 on the Funimation website (I haven't found it on Crunchyroll or VRV). If you are invested in doing so, then I'll explain further down below. To put it simply, Season 2 (or Stein's;Gate 0 as it's better known) is the story of the other Okabe, the one who contacted this one via Video D-Mail in episode 23 of the main series. Episode 23b: Divide By Zero of Stein's;Gate 0 shows how that Okabe's life diverted from this one's and therefore why he's at the place we see him at the start of the new series. To put it another way, it helps fill in some of the blanks left by this adaptation of the game and helps prepare you for the tone of the new season. So if you want to watch Stein's;Gate 0 then you absolutely should watch the OVA. But even if you aren't sure you want to continue you might still check the OVA out as it's an interesting "What If?" scenario.

The timeline splits at episode 23. There is an episode 23b out there that leads to Steins;Gate 0 There is also episode 25, which is a bit of added fluff which is not canon for the ending of Steins;Gate that is purely optional, but fun.

Don’t forget “episode 25” which is an OVA. So the OG steins gate does have an OVA episode that takes place after episode 24

If you are going to take a break from the series then watch episode 25 (OVA). This will help wrap up season 1 with a bow and you can take a break. When you do decide to continue then you can watch the other stuff like the OVA 23B and then continue onto Steins Gate 0, or you can watch the movie later on. But 25 is nice place to end before taking a break and it is only an episode in length. Hope this helps

Something I forgot to mention is that you can do 25 and the movie any time after 1-24. The timing doesn't really matter that much. The one thing I'd just recommend is watching 25 before the movie since it is set after that OVA.

If you are gonna watch steins gate 0 then yes there is a OVA you need to watch. It is OVA 0 for stiens gate 0. It is title 23B- Divide by Zero. If you go on Funimation and look up Steins Gate and go to the season titled Stiens Gate 0. Is is listed as the first episode in the playlist. If you watch season 2 before watching that OVA you will be missing out

ep 24 is the actual end of SteinsGate and the ova is a little aftermath that takes place sometime later, so you can watch it if you want to complete the series 100%. also, there is another episode, called 23B, that MUST be watched if you are going to watch SteinsGate Zero after.

I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to here but here is the normal watch order. 1) Steins;Gate 1-24 2) Steins;Gate 25 (listed separately because it is a non-canon OVA but it's solid so I recommend watching it) 3) Steins;Gate 23β: Open the Missing Link (the second half of the episode is totally different than 23 and leads to Steins;Gate 0) 4) Steins;Gate 0 5) Steins;Gate Movie - this one is also non-canon so up to you if you want to watch it That should cover it. Yeah, the OVA will be 23b, but that's only if ya'll will watch the second season aka "Steins Gate 0"
