i remember when i first heard Passione were going to do it was like oh no and was right not terrible but only ok at best cuz then known for just ok work that studio

You would have the different hair colors looking so powerful and different and unique in color but in here they just go with a light shade of that color and don't add any details in the colors.

2021-11-29 14:46:27 +0000 UTCThis new art style really brought the series down a notch, animations characters felt bland and way to colorful(i know it sounds conflicting, but its true for me). After 3 seasons, its tough for any series to completely change art style, even attack on titan s4 took a hit from many(but its mappa, so not nearly as much)

2021-11-28 10:01:22 +0000 UTCThe designs are the official ones IIRC, hence why Koneko looks closer to her actual appearance vs what the anime had her look kinda bland. Shame about the tiddies getting a downgrade design wise across the board tbh

2021-11-28 08:39:00 +0000 UTCKoneko is best grill (I have a weakness for both silver/white hair and kuuderes, but not necessarily combined per se, it just happened to be that Koneko fills both traits. Oh and her being the bruiser class is a plus, since that's also the best (Aoi Yuuki voices my favorite bruiser that is Hibiki from Symphogear), gotta love bruiser lolis for dat max gapmoe appeal), so I didn't rly mind. She got an upgrade for her looks (these are closer to the official looks of the characters, so I'm glad)

It looks like how it was originally supposed to be now with the coloring of the characters features and the style of the drawing Also YBRL I haven’t seen the reaction yet so if you guys discussed this already my bad but wondering if you guys saw episode 0 before this. That episode shows what was actually supposed to happen in episode 9 & 10 of season 3 since half of those episodes were rewritten with filler

Had to give my brain enough time to soft forget the details of the older art style, and since I've been re-watching as you've been releasing I'm experiencing that art style whiplash again.
