Prince Zanac is Princess Renner’s half-brother, but Marquis Raeven is not related to either of them, he’s just allied with Zanac politically. Also, Zanac didn’t say he was going to marry her himself, but “marry her off”, basically sell her to the highest bidder. No Game of Thrones incest stuff is going on here.

2021-12-08 05:31:42 +0000 UTCI think it was still a LITTLE too early. We literally know nothing about Evil Eye right now. I'd say, at least let them get to a point where they can start speculating about the character before you throw the meaning of their entire existence in the comments section. Honestly, I would have held onto that information until Evil Eye is no longer a part of the story any more. There's no guarantee that the anime doesn't have intentions of revealing that in later seasons. Anime often do things out of order from the source material. Given how much emphasis they put on Evil Eye the past couple of episodes, I doubt they won't ever circle back around to her and give us a little more of her story. I've only ever watched the anime, so I don't know what the source material outlines for her or the story in general. However, if there is one thing I can say with somewhat certainty about this series is that they tend to obscure lore more than they abandon it. They may not give you a connect the dots delivery, but they tend to at least imply things that are integral to character back story. This includes minor characters, if the Ninya sisters are any indication. Moral of this long ass coment... maybe don't assume they'll never cover something until the show ends or the prospect of learning more about that character has decisively passed. That's just my two copper on the matter. Take it or leave it as you see fit. :P *Edit* there is also a "Spoilers" channel on the YBRL Discord where you can talk about anything that might possibly be a spoiler without running the risk of upsetting other viewers or the gang themselves. I have used it excessively in the past and folks are always down to do a little lore dumping and even extensive theory discussions. Just a thought to kick around for the future. :)

Dub really failed here as Entoma's voice shouldn't have changed before she loses the bug that gives her that voice. Just bad makers of dub as they clearly never read the LN compared to original japanese VA.
