I think when Mu-Jin gave her that gun and told her to find and kill her father's killer, they showed some flashbacks from the ship when Ji-Woo had the gun pointed at Mu-Jin, Mu-Jin. it read on his face, "You've finally found your father's killer." Mu-Jin kept talking about, the belief that you need the conviction to kill a person, I think he trained her to kill him one day.
