I'd say the 1st season is pretty good but then √ π messed everything up and left off on a cliffhanger that was never resolved then as far as I know RE had terrible pacing I liked the manga tho was tripping out the whole volume because of the spoiler at the beginning thinking there's no way they do that

I think that last part is the trickest, because it becomes a question of how long do i wait? Overlord shows things in light novel right away but doesn't in anime tell season 3 for example, its all over the place sometimes.

yeah its tricky, that why you just play it safe. It is public, so playing the game of balancing what is spoiler or not is never a good idea. Whats extra annoying is animes will often do things out of order so when someone assumes something has been skipped and just spill it only to find out its added later in the anime. Its so tricky, my best advice with something like that example is just fill in gaps of information that was missed in a literal scene, like explaining what rudy was thinking talking to orsted like that, its a literal scene that happened. If an entire scene is skipped stay away from speaking about it, because it could come back, does that make sense. It might of sounded like rambling.

Problem I see most is anime skips most of the internal dialogue from LN/Manga.... which is usually character motivation or rationalizations. Sad they don't adapt it properly

Yeah, but that's a letter that only Roxy, maybe Slyphy would be equipped to write. Eris communicates with punches most her life, she not a character that would write such a clear, well thought out letter.

Kyptonyte your advice is based on manga/ln. My opinion is based the the Anime. People read the manga and say. “You guys shouldn’t be so harsh on Eris, you’ll find out soon”. I consider that a spoiler because your spoiling the mood based on the fact that you see the future and now i know “Eris isn’t so bad” but not because of present facts but because of the hint. That alters how i emotionally receive information from the show.

Hints can be considered spoilers too, i do myself. Reason being is many people will hint and you can end piecing it together when you shouldn't have been able to as easily or at all without the hints. 1 hint is not big deal, its when multiple people give different ones for same thing.

Honestly compared to the light novel and manga this was the absolute best way they could do a sex scene for them. They had a few more panels they didn't adapt even though it wasn't explicit it still had more panels that shown they were doing the thing.

Here is what really bums me (and probably Rudy) out alot. It was like, 4 or 5 episodes ago when Rudy offered to pay her way home, and Eris said she would stay with Rudy. And then she just up and left in THE 2ND LAST EPISODE!

I understand why Eris did what she did, but she had to give him a good explanation. At this point Rudeus will think it's his fault, he feels abandoned, betrayed, used as an object and thrown away without any good explanation. It's sad because for Rudeus, Eris was the first girl in his life (both his lives), he really had feelings for her. I hope Rudeus is okay, but if I see him depressed, I won't be surprised, I think he'll be traumatized. She could leave him a letter telling him she loved him but she didn't want to be that guy's concubine, telling him she was leaving to train and writing to him to concentrate on finding his mother and that they would see each other again in the future. .

ahh it sucks youve been spoiled, my rule is to just not comment if im not sure if it would count as a spoiler, it seems like a lot of light novel readers try to over explain stuff that could pop up later in the anime or can be noticed through how they animate characters ect... that said i hope it doenst ruin your enjoyment for when that time comes
